June 1st. Joshua's big night being unveiled to the American casuals. They needed a known name, they needed something to help get the locals interested and all that. Well i have the solution.
Take an unsanctioned fight against Miller on the same date at the same venue. Obviously Belts off the line, there is nothing to say a fight cant happen it just cant be controlled and sanctioned by the local authorities.
The big unbeaten beast from the UK, World champion powerhouse Vs the beast from the US pumped to the eye ball full of drugs, technically classified as a Superhuman until the Peds run out. Can the Brit come over to America and beat this roided raging monster. No holds barred, a natural MAN MOUNTAIN vs a chemical MAN MOUNTAIN. That would sell. That would sell well.
Dont get me wrong i would love Joshua to go down the normal route of of defending his belts in MSG in a sanctioned fight against a legitimate challenge against a legitimate threat but it seems everybodys balls have shrunk right up in to their bodies. None of them want a career high pay day and a chance to be a unified world champ. Joshua is quite clearly now the BOOGEYMAN of the division. So do something different.
The Boxing authorities wont like it at all but the authorities dont care half as much as they make out they care about drugs cheating. Only thing they care about is their image. So by Joshua knocking out a roided Miller is an advert for Drugs not always being the answer.
But none of this would of happened if Wilder wasnt such a duck.
