I think Wilder is a very underrated fighter (he's way faster than any other heavyweight and has huge power) but the guy's talking doesn't match his fight record. He fought Stiverne, Ortiz and a rusty low-risk Fury. He had an opportunity to fight Joshua and he chose Breazeale.

I'm a Joshua fan but Wilder has a good chance against him. Just make the fight. Stop trying to bring a guy with more belts than you to your backyard to fight....

If any of u were handling FURY,you wouldn't have have him rematch WILDER right away because he could be devastated and hurt badly. It was a smart move by team FURY to avoid it.

I think I wilder is really flattered he put Tyson d own twice. He always hoped he could But now knows he c an.
But he's scared of fury as he knows he gets gets up to pummel him for rest of round.
Trust me me when George foreman got Frasier down. Foreman was terrified Frasier would get up.

He knows Deontay will get to him much earlier in the second bout he won't be able to bamboozle him for long stretches of time like he did in the first fight.

He'll get hit a lot more this time and a lot earlier and will inevitably get KTFO. It's the same reason he ran away from the Klitschko rematch. Fury is the biggest fraud out there.
I think the more likely scenario is that Fury is far better in the rematch once he has shed some of those excess pounds and ring rust that he was carrying in the first fight.

Let’s not forget that Wilder only started to catch up late in the fight when Fury was no doubt tired and slowing having been fighting at championship level for the first time since his drug and alcohol binge and morbid obesity.

As for “the most soul taking feeling ever” you seem to be forgetting that Fury ended the fight on the front foot and rocked Wilder AFTER being knocked down. Your theory doesn’t stack up.

Don't forget Fury quit boxing when Wlad decided to take the rematch. Fury knew Wlad wouldn't fight like he did the first time. It's no surprise to see him ducking the 2nd Wilder fight.

Wilder had 12 rounds experience to figure out what worked and what didn't against Fury. I'd say he has a better chance in the 2nd fight.

Also look at Fury's record. The best 3 fighters he beat are an old Klitchsko, Chisora and Chisora. I can still remember when he ducked David Price. Even Fury admits he ducked him now.

I think Wilder forgot he never fought Povetkin, through no fault of his own though, but would have beaten him had they fought.
