As the daunting prospect of facing pound-for-pound great Terence Crawford looms into view, Amir Khan never lost faith that he would again compete in elite-level fights. Khan stepped up two weight divisions to challenge the fearsome Saul 'Canelo' Alvarez for the WBO world middleweight title in May 2016 and performed admirably until an outrageous right scored a brutal sixth-round knockout for the Mexican.

That's so NOT true. Look at Khan in the face to face interview.

Just....no. He knows he's going to LOSE.

    There are levels to this.

Nah... Everyone knows you took the fight because you're trying to avoid a hometown ass whopping by Brook.

Bud sizes Khan up for 3-4 rds, turns up the heat, starts battering him up between 6 and 8, then turns it up another gear to stomp his ass in 9-11.

Khan is still fast and can punch too, but he have no chin. Crawford is more complete and much tougher, his adjustments and his timing will prevail. Plus he's by far the fresher fighter of the two...

Khan is gonna lose because Crawford is in a league of his own now.

Wrong. You took the fight because A) It wasn't Brook, and B) You can tell your friends down at the snooker club that you fought one of the best in the sport - and got beat up - just like with Canelo and nearly FLoyd and Pacman before that. By sharing a ring with a great makes you a great (in your head).
