I remember this one. ESPN kind of effed up because apparently a lot of people on the West Coast couldn't even get it.
I remember doing play by play in the Mosley fight and the Margarito fight because they couldn't watch it.
It was an ok card. Nothing that special.
It was cheaper than a normal ppv
David Estrada lost but made a lot of money off of being a set up guy for up and comers and I believe the Boxing Banker Calvin Brock retired after Wlad waylaid him and he had some sort of eye problems.
This is when Brock was being hyped up as the great American HW hope lol. People should've realized he was just another guy after that McCline fight, instead it wasn't until Wlad clobbered him. This was also the fight that kinda established Maragrito as a bad dude, beating up the undefeated Cintron.
Edit: Gosh, I had forgotten about Martinez too, his career was pretty much ruined when prime Donaire destroyed him

You are right about the eye problems, but he actually stuck around for a bit, lost a close fight to Fast Eddie Chambers, think that was the fight that ****ed up his eye and forced him to retire.

Yeah you are right. Brock wasn't bad. I think technically he was ok and a lot better than a lot of guys today as far as skills.
He had a degree and plans so he didn't seem to have the killer instinct other guys did.

He was decent, probably one of the better HW's from that decade, which says a lot about the 2000s. He'd be an interesting fringe guy to throw into the mix against today's HWs. Prime Brock vs Whyte or Parker could be fun
