PROOF Luiz Ortiz is Ducking If He Doesn't Take the Fight

From an article with Boxing Talk in March:

GL: Hmm. Have there been any talks already about you fighing Wilder on May 18th?

LO: "My team handles all that. I haven't heard anything yet, but anytime I get an opportunity to fight for a heavyweight title then that's what I'm going to do."

GL: Can you be ready to fight him by May 18th?

LO: "I can be ready to fight Wilder next week if the call comes."

Having said all that just over a month ago, how can he turn the Joshua fight down without it being a duck?

Edit: URL doesn't seem to work but if you removed the space between boxing and talk the URL will take you to the article. http://www.boxing talk.com/Luis-Ortiz-Ready-For-Wilder-On-May-18th,-Ready-For-Wilder-Next-Week

Ortiz has his shot if he turns it down **** him. At least the dumb Wilder fans can't bring up the old hype jobs name anymore if he does duck.

What's gonna happen is either Ortiz will take the fight (for a career-high payday) or the other promoters will block this fight by promising him a deal with Fury or Wilder for more money (and a full training camp) in the near future.

Ortiz is just a name drop like how his options were between Ortiz or Miller for AJ and Ortiz or Chisora for Whyte

            Are you new?

Name drop? Unless Ortiz's manager comes out and says that Hearn was lying then you are wrong. You must be a Wilder fan.

Hearn lying about what? All he said was Ortiz was one of the options and 1st name mentioned by AJ he didn't say anything about the fight being offered to Ortiz

Not the 1st time Eddie Hearn done this btw

Hearn said he spoke to Jay Jimenez, Ortiz's manager and he felt Ortiz wouldn't be ready but said he'll speak to him.

Hearn said he already called Ortiz's manager and told them they wanted the fight. Now its up to Ortiz's people to confirm or deny.
