From an article with Boxing Talk in March:
GL: Hmm. Have there been any talks already about you fighing Wilder on May 18th?
LO: "My team handles all that. I haven't heard anything yet, but anytime I get an opportunity to fight for a heavyweight title then that's what I'm going to do."
GL: Can you be ready to fight him by May 18th?
LO: "I can be ready to fight Wilder next week if the call comes."
Having said all that just over a month ago, how can he turn the Joshua fight down without it being a duck?
Edit: URL doesn't seem to work but if you removed the space between boxing and talk the URL will take you to the article. http://www.boxing talk.com/Luis-Ortiz-Ready-For-Wilder-On-May-18th,-Ready-For-Wilder-Next-Week
