then he proves his fan right and his haters wrong. Its simple. This is why the sport exist to see who really is the best, you can say this guy is clearly better etc etc but you still have to fight the fights and prove it.
Crawford is all wrong for Spence. A blitzing and easy KO would surprise the crap out of me but a wide-ish decision wouldn't.
I think if Crawford got a win that you described then he'll get a ton of plaudits and possibly become a crossover star. It's a legacy fight especially if Spence adds Porter's and Thurman's scalps (and titles) before a potential bout.
He'd be en route to becoming a legit ATG IMO he'd just need to stay focused and it would be there for him.
