Does David Price have an American/International fanbase?

First off, Pricey is well liked but to describe him as havi g a cult hero status in UK is miles from the truth. Most boxing observers would say he should just retire. As I have said before, he has hummingbird sized lungs and a balsa wood beard - he's not even a gatekeeper.Just wondering if Big Stiff Davey has a following outside of the UK? In his homeland he has started to develop a sort of cult hero status. I am beginning to think he may be able to play his part in the main event of a successful, UK-based PPV show. Price-Wilder for example, would probably do AS GOOD as Whyte-Wilder in the UK. In fact, maybe PBC and Showtime should look into putting that fight on over here!
That said, he's exactly the level of fighter Wilder prefers - so there is that.
Undercard guy fighting a Dubois or Gorman, or he should just stay at home. Nice lad, but he doesn't have the tools.Comment

David Price has power and his fights are always hilarious. Nice guy too. He'll never be a world champion, but he could beat a good fighter on his day. No need for him to retire at this stage. I'm sure he is fully aware that boxing is dangerous, but it's what he wants to do.Comment

Good question in general on UK fighters being known in the US (among boxing fans, as opposed to ordinary people who barely know who Joshua).
Depends on your source. For cable TV Americans who mostly see ESPN, Showtime and formerly HBO, Price wouldn't be known, would he? I think most of his matches were BoxNation, unavailable here.
I've seen most of his fights via streams on the Net.
Things may change if DAZN catches on and makes deals with Sky Sports and all the rest. Kind of surprised ESPN never made a deal to show Sky Sports matches a few days later, but they also don't care about snooker or darts tournaments.Comment
