Yes, very talented. Difference is he's much smaller than Danny at 140. I think he'd have a good chance at eclipsing Garcia's career if he could stay at 135 longer, but moving up to 140 in the near future and facing elite fighter's would be his road block imo. He has all the confidence in the world but I have serious doubts that he's ready for Prograis, Taylor, or Baranchyk...Interesting comparison to Danny Garcia - they both have whacko fathers. I think Teo is a spectacular talent, and if he's brought along at the right pace and gets the right training and advice, he'll eclipse Danny Garcia's career by some margin.
Tatli is the right pace, so someone is making the right decisions in the background, but he has visible defensive flaws that he needs to tighten up, so hopefully someone is picking up on that and working on it as one of these days someone will be good enough to start hitting him back. Tatli might be able to do that to the extent that he helps identify places where Teo is open, but he might not last long enough for Teo to get the most benefit from the fight as Tatli's own defence is basic at best.
Best to try and stay at 135 as long as he can and built to a fight with Loma or Garcia.. Should be no rush the big money fights for him are at 135 not 140
IMO Dudes really shouldn't even be trying to fight at 140 if they aren't big enough to move up to 147. If you think about it 140 is like an intermediate weight for guys that eventually will be fighting at 147 at some point.Last edited by Realizniguhnit; 04-18-2019, 03:52 PM.Comment
