I think he will be remembered as an all time great. 20 successful title defenses and 22 KO wins in a row should do that for him. His best wins would be Jacobs and Canelo twice although he didn't officially get the Canelo wins.

HOF'er yes, ATG...probably not in the eyes of most. Had that 2nd Canelo fight been scored for Golovkin as I thought it should have, that may have changed a lot of the general opinion

Yes they will and what's wrong with that? Do you prefer boxers who don't have many successful title defenses? He has tons of fans worldwide even if he is so hated on this board. They will remember him as great. He certainly has done much more at middleweight than any other middleweight in many years.

In 2 fights a bug majority of the public and media had GGG winning.

The only thing Golovkin cares about is fighting Canelo. Wasted his entire career chasing a junior middleweight who he hasn't beaten through two tries.

An ATG no. A great fighter in the middleweight division.. Absolutely. To be an ATG he needs to beat Canelo definitively and beat Jacobs again by KO. Then possibly move up and beat a credible SM champ at 168 not a catch weight. I've never been a fan of Championship matches at catchweights. Is that going to happen? Probably not.

Canelo exposed him as a basic up and down fighter with no special effects!
GGG whopped Jacobs, dropped him and turned him into an allergic looking Hitch. Jacobs fell unto the ropes in exhaustion at the final bell. And then he looked like garbage in his two post GGG fights.

                      Very basic though...
