    I agree with you and we know why he don't want to say Mexican Style.

      GGG's return to ring set against unbeaten Rolls. The fight, a 12-rounder at a contract weight of 164 pounds

      SMH I missed this part...

          I don't think Gennady will consider fighting Canelo if he doesn't feel he still got it.

          A few things I find very interesting:
          1. Gennady took a long break (unusual for him);
          2. He talked more about promoting fighters from Kazakhstan than him fighting;
          3. He said he is yet to see for how long he can fight when asked about Canelo fight;
          4. He slowed down a lot;
          5. His deal with DAZN was as much about other fighters under him as it was about him fighting;

          I really think this is a test fight for him. If he doesn't look right (which is fully possible), he will retire without fighting Canelo.

          fair call

          good post

          not sure if I agree, but some fair points there

          I think it is just as likely that Golovkin would lie, cheat, steal, and defraud his fans..... for that huge payday..... which is why he selected a total no-hoper and told us that it would be a big-drama-show

          I dunno man, I am just getting dejavu..... this is exactly what he did with Vanes

            For starts he would be 40-0 right now

            nah, he ducked a TON of fighters

            that was my point in that post

            if Golovkin has gone the Canelo route he would have faced all of the guys he avoided..... so he would not have garnered the "killer" reputation with the casuals and he would likely have taken losses on his way because..... he is simply not as good or well-rounded as Canelo

              Golovkin avoided a TON of fighters

              they did a great job of lying to the ****heads and casuals, but the hardcores can see whats up

                exactly !

                funny that the responsibility falls on Canelo to ensure that Golovkin fights someone with a pulse

                not like his fans have high standards or expectations

                despite the fact that Golovkin has been rightly criticized for YEARS for his pvssy opponent selection..... his fans still accept this rubbish

                the way I see it..... the boxing fans are keeping it real, the Golovkin fans are licking his ass and sputtering excuses

                  when Golovkin blows out this, not-a-bum, in 1 round.....

                  how will that " outing " prepare him for Canelo..... ?

                  how did all of the " not-a-bum's ", that Golovkin has feasted on for the entire duration of his career..... prepare him for Jacobs/Canelo?

                    IF GEE does not 100% body Rolls he should retire.

                      who is even remotely close ?

                      who has LITERALLY tip-toed through the tulips..... been criticized for his shltty opponent selection for YEARS..... talked utter bollocks about fighting in other divisions and knocking out heavyweights..... but then ran the other way whenever an opportunity presented itself to get in there with a real one?

                      no, don't say Loma..... because he is not even close

                      nobody has tip-toed through the tulips..... talked more bullshlt..... and rattled off more lame excuses not to fight..... than Golovkin
