Why should we care whether he fights Canelo or not? Why should we care about his money grab? As far as I'm concerned, nobody wants that fight, and there isn't any controversy to resolve. Only the promoters and DAZN care.

I'm perfectly fine if GGG lines up cans for the rest of whatever is left of his career. No justification should be made, however, because he might fight Canelo next. Who really cares?

Canelo should turn him down, unless GGG gets a belt. That's the rule in boxing now. No belt, no fight.

This is a classic cherrypicker move. Pick an undefeated opponent who has fought nobody to make it seem like a good matchup.

Damn, he is undefeated and younger. Golovkin doesnt need to fight hungry fighters like these before a big fight but he still does which I respect. Amazing news, will order Dazn that month only.

Only interesting part of this fight is wondering why it is at 164? Maybe Rolls wanted that, maybe GGG wanted it as a light camp/test before Canelo. That part is interesting. Never heard of Rolls before this fight was rumored so hopefully this one gets over with quickly and we get to the real fights at MW

Stop....i knew we would find one GGG fangirl try and blame shift. Fielding was world champ so you know why he got the fight he had a belt. Canelo also moved up another weight class and fought on quick turnaround. And Fielding was on every top 10 ranking at 168. Ring, ESPN you name it they had Fielding on their top 10. This bum is barely in the top 100 rankings has no belt and GGG had since Sept to find a better opponent.

FACT Fielding would of been a top 5 win on GGG entire trash resume. Fielding is better then 80 percent of GGG'S tomato can wins. You got to go back to canelo being like 19 years old to find an opponent canelo faced that was ranked 94th on boxrec in his own weight class like Steve Rolls is. So don't come with the bs false equivalent. This is a new low for the bum collector

Those are guaranteed wins. Fielding was and is a crappy fighter. He froze in the ring and didn't have enough sense to smother Canelo with his superior size, his one and only asset. He was cherry picked because he was knocked out previously with a body shot in the first round and Canelo is a great body puncher. You are the guy who won't face up to the fact that Fielding was a huge cherry pick.
That fight was a mismatch and so is this one.
