  • Comments Thread For: Lartley: I Will Make a Statement Against Daniel Dubois!

RICHARD LARTEY BELIEVES he has been the avoided man of the heavyweight division. The 14-1 Ghanaian with 11 KOs to his name has fought just once outside of his native Accra when he travelled to Berne and suffered an injury-enforced defeat to the unbeaten Ergun Mersin in December 2014.

This journeyman is talking a lot. Dubois will knock him out in a brutal fashion.

You won't be the first African to win the heavyweight championship, Samuel Peter, Corrie Sanders have already won titles at heavyweight.

As for you beating Dubois it's unlikely. You only getting paid to lose dude, if the match makers thought you were any good they wouldn't have matched you with Dubois.

Dubois is going to have this guy running with the first power shot he lands and from then on it's downhill before Lartey is stopped in 3.

Looking forward to the fight. I'm impressed so far with Dubois, so if Lartley beats him, or is even competitive, he'll definitely be a fighter I'll watch for.

I don't know who this lartley guy is but if he's the same age as Daniel and has the same amount of experience it should be an equal playing field which then I would give lartley credit if he wins
