I saw the replay after work last night(again), & I couldn't help but notice how much **** Steward was talking about Shane, all of which in my eyes was unjustified. Yes, Mosley was the more tentative fighter, but that because he's the smaller fighter & he was fighting the smaller mans fight(if he moves down to WW then his style would change). At first I agreed that Mosley's punches looked "pitter patter", but when i saw the fight he was landing hard shot, not as hard as Vargas but still effective. The punches Mosley was throwing remind me of something i read in one of Bruce Lee's books, the most effective way to throw a punch is to aim it about 2 or 3 inches behind you target, & keep you hand relaxed until right before the moment of inpact. I don't think Steward is that bad, Vargas was executing his game plan perfectly, but so was Mosley, apperently all Steward was looking at was Vargas.
Vargas/Mosley I, Damn Steward was pissing me off

I didn't want to kill him or ass **** him like the rest of you guys, but that was pretty annoying. He didn't want to give Shane Mosley credit for anything. In my opinion, it was waaaaaaay worse than Foreman in the Hopkins/Tito fight. Foreman was just nuthugging Tito in that fight, he wasn't really bashing Hopkins. Steward was downplaying Shane's abilities and he didn't even give Shane credit for the swelling his punches did on Vargas' face.Comment
