Where are the Big Match-Ups for 2019?

I mean, we got GGG-Canelo II last year. Wilder-Fury turned out to be a good scrap. Loma-Linares was entertaining. All good 50/50 fights going in.

    But what about this year?

Four solid champs at 147. I don't see any of them fighting any time soon.

Four solid champs at 175. I don't see any of them fighting soon.

Loma and Mikey maybe? Of course, that seems to be a long shot as well.

Wilder-Joshua? It looks like a pipe dream at this point.

Gary Russell Jr and Santa-Cruz? That would be nice but I hear no talk of it either.

    Damn. What a dry year....

This year has been a huge disappointment so far.
Hopefully we get some good fights later on during the year.
At least Jacobs/Canelo is coming up.

Uhm no. That was a one sided beat down one in which everyone knew the outcome beforehand.

Well because boxing fans acting like little GROUPIES for these Networks/Apps and Promoters so it is not pressure being applied on either of them because you actually have fans who defend their Sh#T Matchmaking. All OF THEM are giving fans BS so far this year but yet fans will only bash one side and not the others. Props to GBP for making Canelo vs Jacobs...but that was likely pressure from DAZN as well forcing them to make that one

So yeah they don't give a sh#t! What are boxing fans going to do about it? BOYCOTT?

I don't care no more, I just go off and watch other sports until boxing get their sh#t together. Money well spent on a GREAT UFC Card Saturday so it is OPTIONS out here nobody have to wait around

They're all lost in this DAZN/PBC/ESPN war. And, amazingly, FANS ARE SUPPORTING IT by taking sides and supporting promotions rather than prioritizing boxing. What kind of fool decides to go to bat for promoters who are actively screwing the fans over?

                Yeah, Canelo-Jacobs isn't bad. I think that could be a good match-up although I think it's 70/30 Canelo.

I do like the strcture of the UFC much better. The best have to fight the best or there's no point. Gets very boring.

                Good post, man!

Yeah it's pretty shocking really. I don't give a damn about any of that. Just looking at the matches and that's it and I'm not seeing much good on the horizon and nothing great. Disappointing year so far although sometimes the second half of the year can change. I'm hoping this is the case this year.
