He almost killed Arthur. No one deserves to die but at the same time this is a man sport only the alpha males survive.and Deontay and A.J are the alpha kingsComment

It’s easy to say stuff like that but if you look back at history the fighter is rarely the same after killing / badly injuring a opponent.
Wilder is just trying to build hype for this pony fight ... nothing to see hereComment

He’s crass and he’s not the brightest bulb but he’s right.
Deep down we all know we’re not actually built for being punched in the head.
The trade-off even for us fans is that while we love the skill, the drama, and pure competitive nature of
1-on-1 physical combat most decent boxing fans get a big gut check every time someone gets a bad injury.
Our role is to maintain our interest and pay for fights where we can and hope the competitors are well compensated for their risk.
But even then we know two low level boxers will be going life and death at some small hall somewhere in the world every day of the week.Comment

I genuinely would be delighted if he gets cabbaged.
He has said this stuff too often. Obviously it's for a shock factor to try and get people interested in him without doing the hard work of fighting top level, in their prime guys, but it's not working.
But to even bring it up just once marks him out as scum.Comment

It's not in good taste.
I often wonder how so much crap can come out of a seemingly bright, healthy human-being.
Sometimes I think if maybe he's just a little bit slow in the head.
Maybe from coping too many punches??Comment
