The "best P4P boxer in the world" is something rooted in feelings, perceptions, fanboyism...

The Ring has: Loma, Crawford, Canelo, Usyk, Spence...

Boxing Writers Association of America has: Loma, Crawford, GGG, Garcia, Spence...

TBRB has: Loma, Crawford, Usyk, Srisaket Sor Rungvisai, Naoya Inoue...

ESPN has: Loma, Crawford, Canelo, Spence, GGG...

BoxRec has: Canelo, Crawford, GGG, Joshua, Spence...

There is no promoter on the planet that would make that fight. 1 hard body shot and LOMO would crumble! Lmao!

Great point! Good example is when FLOYD beat DELA HATER and MOSELY they were old walking zombies but after PAC fought them both after FLOYD they were great fighters. LOMO could fight PEE WEE HERMAN and his fans would salute him. Lol

word. p4p seems to get more inaccurate with each passing year. ESPN spends an entire segment speaking p4p, but doesn't mention Usyk? or Canelo? Usyk just had arguably the best 2018 and nothing, not a peep. It couldn't be more clear that P4P rankings are biased because not everybody is getting equal consideration...people just forget **** and are biased towards guys they like.

Lomachenko is much smaller than Crawford or even Garcia. He is a small frame guy with only a 65-inch reach. I think he beats Garcia easily but would lose to Crawford.

                  Question:
How can one be P4P #1, but not the best in his own division?
                  Is that possible?
                  For those who "REALLY KNOW",
Thurman, ESJ, & Porter are the "true" welters ....
Until Crawford faces those guys, he is not recognized as the best at 147.
He can fight all of the underbellies of TR, GB, and Matchbook.
Until he faces those above mentioned guys, or even Ugas, Crawford is a hype job....
                  Drop the eye test.

Consensus and popular opinion is that it's 1. Loma 2. Crawford and then some distance. I agree with that.

IMO Loma looks better, is more eye catching in the ring and has beaten better opponents but Crawford is arguably more rounded and has been an undisputed champion.
