You have to earn it by actually beating the best rivals fans want you to face, til then its all an exercise in masterbation & futility
So if you had to list who is your p4p no.1 atm?

Bud/Spence, Loma/Garcia need to happen to give a clearer picture.
        Also Nelo/Jacobs.
If Nelo dominates Jacobs and then can get a decisive win over GGG then he must be in the running.
        1.Loma
        2.Crawford
3.Nelo until we see these fights happen.

He's number two after Davis. This must be new to you, too. Crazy people these days. You asked what's in the water!

My top 3 current American boxers: 1) Davis, 2) Crawford, 3) Spence. Then the rest. I'm only talking about American boxers. I don't believe in a P4P BS.

before saying who’s best we do two things, measure them against weightclass of fighters current and past and then, fighters current and past of other weight classes.
              Who’s who?
FMJ was a clear mile above anyone else in any weight anything so far in my life.
Remember, it’s about striking an opponent without being hit.
The closest of the two men to this would be Lomachenko clearly. Both are definitely world elite but the best is arguable and much too early to either be classed or class themselves as the best.
Someone here said, one beat mikey and one beat spence....spence has more to do even with a win over Crawford whereas Mikey Garcia dropping back to face Lomachenko is far more interesting a fight.
Errol spence can not prove he’s the best by winning against Kell Brook (who every American said he was rubbish because he’s british) and a two weight below Mikey Garcia to earn the p4p title. Mikey HAS picked up some excellent wins in multiple weight classes and that definitely surpasses spence even though he lost to him.
Too early for all these men but one will certainly be in the running....which one?
I got the winner of a Lomachenko vs Garcia fight over spence vs Crawford unless, the bigger men sort out the porter, Thurman,Garcia business first.

Until TC fights an elite fighter we just don't know how great he is. He needs the Spence and Thurman fights and those guys need Crawford before we can say too much more. The last 4 fights of TC will be Khan, Benavidez, Jeff Horn and Indongo. That ain't telling us much.
