Maidana might not have been the best back in the day with certain loses people mentioned but he was still developing ,its sad that he actually quit in his prime ,his last three fights he fought guys with great defenses and his setups,feints and shot placed was unlike the way he fought previously he was an awesome fighter

And the fighter maidana the night he fought mayweather would have easily won those fights he lost previously before he was so much smarter with his punches

Thats what i believe anyways

And also he has bigger traps and shoulders and theyre pretty defined they wont go down with the weight hes gonna look a beast when hes ready i just really hope he still has that brain fpr setting up that power he showed just before retiring

At what weight class do you think he should make his return?

I say super middlweight first just for the first fight and then try to drop down to the 154 class after that.

Definitely 154. Those guys at 160 and 168 are way too big for him.

TBF, he was never a muscular build even in his prime. He had that natural gifted power

If i get the Broner or Khan rematches i'll be happy. ideally he does well enough to get a crack at Pacman or Thurman next year but i'm not too sure. Still pissed he retired after the Floyd fights, he would have been in good fights with Porter, Thurman, Brook, Garcia etc.

Damn, he still has almost 40 pounds to go. He'll be weakened by all this sudden weight lost focused on mainly cutting weight abruptly. The body has to gradually adapt and assimilate the new weight.
