  • Did Dennis Hogan expose Jaime Munguia?

Hogan is a solid boxer but nobody thought he stood a chance against Munguia. Has Munguia been overrated?

I never rated him particularly highly, and that's without having seen this most recent fight yet. He's the textbook example of the weight bully archetype and a good example of how the skillsets of fighters who fit into that mould suffer when they simply rely on overwhelming physical advantages to win fights. His notable successes so far are down almost purely to his ability to drain weight and balloon back up into the Hulk and not to his skill or boxing nouse.

Munguia young tho and had a good learning experience with a mover, same way Swift Garcia had to learn to adjust with Khan and Peterson.

Munguia is a bum. He would get murdered by everyone in the 154, and everyone in the 160. Golovkin would have literally hospitalized this kid, I'm glad they didn't go through with the fight.

Munguia had already been exposed. He gets exposed a little more each fight.

eventually he's going to face someone who has a hard overhand right and then it's lights out.

lmao, thats true the kids rubbish,I will say this though if he keeps gaining experience & working hard with a better trainer he can be a force at 160 imho. Hes still very young & it looks like hes weight drained at jmw which is oftentimes a good thing so he can avoid getting kod while he gets better & gains experience. What fighter does look good normally at age 20

edit: hes 22,so i take that back but still he has his whole career ahead of him still,he is 6' tall so maybe he will do better at 160 & not end up JCC jr 2.0,I've been saying hed get kod by Hurd/Lara easily though & it looks more likely daily
