I don't usually watch women's boxing, but that was entertaining. Shields just sat and waited for Hammer to come in, and then launched her shots. Hammer just didn't have a plan-B or second gear.

First female fight I ever watched. I was surprised at the skill level. Don’t think I’ll ever follow it the way I do the men’s game. But it was much better than I expected.

Trying not to be a sexist douche - but Claressa is very emotional during her fights. That's when she starts flailing, that's when she got KD'd. Take someone like.. Canelo's or Golovkin's attitude and transplant into her body, and she'll become unbeatable. Those 2 dudes, nothing fazes them. When Canelo got hit in the back in the 1st fight, he emotionlessly pointed to it. When Golovkin got hit with a low blow, he just pointed down and then raised his gloves.

IMO Katie Taylor is the most controlled female fighter.

I can respect women and NOT rally behind them as fighters. They both look sloppy and amateurish. This fight will not elevate women’s boxing.

I think women’s boxing needs 3 min rounds and 12 rounds in title fights!

If this fight had 3 min rounds with 12 rounds I think Shields would’ve stopped Hammer and helped elevate the sport!

Not sure why they don’t have that but credit to Hammer!

She’s a tough and strong champ that will win a title as long as she stays away from Shields or if Shields moves up or down!
