Loma needs to quit beating up these euro bums and step up his competition

Well I can't see Garcia back at 135, he won't be able to get back to 135 and be what he was, it would take something out of him.

Hopefully he vacates soon and we get to see what the WBC does with the belt. If they stuck to their rules (do they ever ?) it would be Campbell v Abdullaev for the belt, then that gives Loma a target - but that still might be Campbell.

But remembering that the WBC's top 3 priorities are sanctioning fees, more sanctioning fees, and yet more sanctioning fees, they might find a way to sanction Campbell v Loma for the belt to get on to the Loma gravy train.

I guess the fan-favoured one would be if the WBC skipped over Abdullaev and made Teo v Campbell for the belt, then on to Loma. Campbell would be a good test to see how good Teo really is - lots of positives in that scenario.

In a perfect world Loma's next fight is a unification with Commey, while Campbell fights Abdullaev for the vacant belt. Then we could get Loma vs Campbell in the winter at the O2 for all the belts

What I find hilarious is that everyone is acting like Arum is willing to make the fight & its up to mikey to man up. Arum is on record just 2 days ago saying he thinks lopez vs loma is a much bigger fight than mikey,he goes on to say he wont let loma face lopez til 2020,& that he hopes mikey vacates so loma can make good money fighting Campbell's "soup can" in the uk.He then says he wants mikey to accept that hes the b side & doesn't deserve much or some such nonsense that proves hes ducking

I don't see it that way at all,147 was CLEARLY much too big 4 him,he will never be great at 147. He last fought at 135 before spence,& hes only 5'5.5,he should make it happen at 135 or a cw of 138 even. Its either he lost to spence because of size as he claims(& I agree),or hes rubbish,theres no other choices.

As I said Arum don't even want it & Loma doesn't sound serious in this quote either. But mikey should call their bluff,if he defeats loma at 135 hell be a legend in mexico & would enhance his legacy greatly.
