I was thinking the same thing. That's her real problem. Hammer gets money for showing off her body and nobody wants to see Shields in a bikini.

Tough luck. And I haven't heard any calls for women to box in the nude, that is just a straw man argument.

Shields is playing every victim card (gender, race) she can think of leading up to this fight. I don't really follow any female fighters except Katie Taylor, who is really talented, but I do hope Shields gets her mouth "hammered" shut tonight.

Claressa makes a point. Men are not interested in watching feminine sports. We want to see blood, guts and glory; Coupled with competition and high skill level. If I wanna see a non athletic, bikini wearing, mud wrestling, strip club sports competition among women then I will watch just that.

Depends. I used to watch Steffi Graf play tennis against Monica Seles and others, just because she was such an ATG great tennis player. She had a nice body, but that wasn't the reason I watched. But tennis seems to be an exception when it comes to pro women's sports. Most people have heard of the Williams sisters, Steffi Graf, Chrissie Evert back in the day. Women's boxing hasn't shown enough people with the superior skills one sees in women's tennis.

Exactly. She did this for ESPN the Body for money and then criticized Hammer for posing in bikinis for money. Hypocrite!

In Shields defense she is a pro boxer and not a public speaker. I think a lot of us are familiar with her background as well from seeing her documentary. Not every athlete is going to come off overly articulate with a microphone in their face. It's sad to see this fight devolve into what it has with fans on here. It's two solid champs who may actually produce a women's fight worth watching. Just take it for what it is.

Yeah, she doesn't look too hot in that pic. She has a deformed @ss too. That was a horrible pic to display her "beauty".
