Finkel shoulda sent the contract for the $50m when Joshua said "lets roll" and Hearn said "please send us the contract" Or at very least Finkel could of not cancelled the meeting with Hearn and then start refusing to talk to him.

So fishy it makes the whole offer seem somehow a bit unbelievable.

Only so called boxing fans are that dumb to think one should accept that when they are both their biggest draws. But the greedy backers of AJ would like to live off of some of that generated wealth no doubt. That’s the problem.
Then why are Team Wilder not coming back with counter offers? They talking about PPV and how the fight make 298 billion trillion, make a move. But they wont they are not looking to make this fight right now. They never did. No need to wait till after the Breazeale fight it can be conditioned on both fighters winning their next fights. But again, they wont make any offers and they will just keep rejecting Joshua's. Ive never expected a fighter who made $26m in 41 fights call $100m for 3 not enough.

Offers from AJ to Wilder = 7
Offers from Wilder to AJ = 0
(well 1 but they couldnt back it up with terms or a contract and refused to back it up with terms or a contract which is really as good as not bothering in the 1st place)

That report appeared to be premature. He was also talking to PBC as well. I don’t think Whyte really wants to move out of the uk comfort zone like fury seems comfortable doing. Whyte just wants Hearn to pay him more

Team Whyte want as much advantage of their opponent are possible, he already is in training camp. They would probably give his opponent little notice for the fight.

If the opponent (For example Ortiz) takes it then he wouldn't be in top shape, if he doesn't take it then its "We offered him the fight for X amount and he turned it down.

Have seen teams do this before in the past.

He almost did. But Shriley Winkel denied Hearn a meeting. Hearn requesting a meeting is tantamount to saying yes and it's no joke to ask for the terms and conditions that go with it.
