At this point Jermall Charlo is hurting himself.

Funny how nobody gave a flying flip about Korobov til he fought Jermall, now he's this world beater who stepped all over Jermall. The hate is real around here, smh.
Also, for a guy that people really don't like (Jermall), some of yall surely want to see him in the biggest fights...not to give him credit if he wins, but to praise the other guy for beating him...which is backwards logic, but this is NSB.

I don't think Mall lost his last fight, but it was for sure closer than the scorecards were in particular that cray cray 11-1 card. Think that was even Larry Hazard's son. Hazard Sr need to go bust his ass for that bs.
As to Mall's overall situation I think he's in a similar situation to Bud at 147 right now. He's on the wrong side of the street so he's just not got leverage on his side to get into a big fight unless a ABC group mando's it. Once Mall gets called up on a mando thats when he'll be in play to make his move. Maybe it works out, maybe it doesn't. Only time & his talent will decide that.
But so far he's doing more or less what he should be doing. I'm sure you can say if he'd did x instead of y things might be a lil better for him, but the reality is nothing is gonna be realllllllllly better for him til he can get a fight with a top 3 guy at 160. GGG didn't seem to want none. And who can blame GGG there. Mall is all risk no reward still. GGG is on the doorstep of retirement with just a handful of fights left. The last thing he wants to do is risk his big payday for Canelo III on Mall.
Its an unenvious situation Mall is in, but I don't think he's playing it THAT bad.Comment

I agree he beat Korobov. Nobody signed with another company to avoid fighting Jermall. They don't need to. If they don't want to fight him they just don't sign a contract to fight him. They went with DAZN because it pays well and that's were most of the best middleweights are.Yet every top mw has made sure to sign with another company so they can avoid fighting him.
I’m curious as to why you don’t use the word protected for other fighters? For example, ggg is about to fight a bum to protect the possibility of a 3rd Canelo fight. You understand that.
You understood when ggg fought bums to stay undefeated so he could get a Canelo fight initially.
I think you can understand that charlo is doing same thing until Canelo or another big money fight presents itself.
That stated, he should rematch korobov even though imo he won.Comment
