Give it a ****kin break with the Haymon doesn't exist BS! Every knows it was a sarcastic joke from Arum! When fanboys like yourself feel like another fighter is a true threat, you look for reasons to justify not wanting the fight! Once Bud moved up and showed the world he wasn't afraid of Spence, you Spencetards got worried!

Everyone just being realistic mate. Spence vs Porter is easy to make and ready to go. Spence vs Bud will take a whole year to make, nobody has time for that back and forth nonsense. Just look at the back and forth Wilder/Fury/Joshua are doing. Do you really wana go through that with Arum/ESPN and Haymon/Showtime/Fox?

Porter is a cornered animal. He doesn't want the Ugas rematch coz there's a chance he'd lose, and Thurman seems set to battle Pacquiao.

Without the unification with Thurman, a cash out fight with Spence is the only way to avoid the rematch.

It's a good fight and should build Spence's stock if he wins convincingly or by stoppage.

The bigger Spence gets, the bigger Crawford vs Spence becomes, the bigger that fight, the higher the likelihood that ESPN/Arum and Haymon/Showtime get together to make the fight.

Face reality, neither of those companies are gonna let the other call the shots. The only way they come to a compromise is if it makes financial sense for them, and for that to be the case, we need either both of one of Crawford/Spence to become a mega star, for Spence that is easy, clean out the PBC roster and become unified Champ.

For Crawford...maybe he can fight Big Show or John Cena at WWE? Lol, I'm actually only half joking there.

PBC has plenty of interesting opponents for Spence, including potential unification fights against Shawn Porter, Keith Thurman or Manny Pacquiao.

Top Rank has zero interesting opponents for Crawford, including no potential unification fights against anyone.

Why would PBC want to deal with the headaches of trying to work something out with Arum, when the in house fights are bigger than the fight they can make with Arum, assuming Arum is even genuine about wanting to make the fight in good faith?

Spence vs. Pacquiao is way way bigger than Spence vs. Crawford.

Spence vs. Thurman is bigger than Spence vs. Crawford.


Crawford has no fan base outside of his home town. His fight vs. Khan won't come close to what Spence just did PPV buy wise even though Khan is more well known than Garcia.
