In other words "Stop mentioning our fighter, we can't have Lomachencko derailing our plans because we know he'll beat Davis"

Let's have the Gamboa fight at 135, or give us Fortuna, Leonard. Forget Arum for now. Otherwise, shut up.
Gamboa? When did he become relevant again?
How about he fight some other top guys in his division, or is their plan for him to never fight any top guys and just wait out any good fighters until they're washed up?

If you guys want chubs to keep looking like a coward that's fine. Everyone knows he does his big talk on Twitter but fights no one.

Ellerbe is right about Bob using other names to generate interest in Loma mismatch tonight. However, he can't keep talking about a plan and that plan not reflect clear steps up in levels. Some of that is on the fighter as he has been quite inconsistent outside the ring. There needs to be a physical and mental build up to a fight with Loma who is older, more mature, and battle tested. There should be a clear 1 to 2-year plan to build up to the Loma fight. Tank would be entering his prime and Loma would be on the tail end of his (roughly).

To Mayweather and Ellerbe credit, they don't boast about Tank being the best or ready to take on anybody nor do they seek to promote him off who he may or may not fight next. Surprisingly they have been quiet unless responding to Bob or Loma quotes.

Here's the thing. Lomachenko still only has 13 fights. It's one thing for a young fighter to lose to well established fighter, kinda like Canelo losing to Mayweather. It's another thing to lose to a fighter with 13 fights even if he is a top P4P fighter. Gary Russell had a decent career until he lost to Lomachenko. His career hasn't been the same since and he's had some decent wins since losing. Davis' career trajectory comes to a complete stop if he loses to Lomachenko at this point. It's the difference between being a boxer with a little name recognition and a superstar. I'm not so sure Davis beating Lomachenko at this point (probably won't happen) would do anything for him right now. Obviously, Davis' team have bigger plans for him. The same people calling him a ducker will be making a meme out of him losing to Lomachenko.

"what we’re doing is what we’re gonna do"... Hahahahahah!
That has to be a Money quote for sure.

anyone know what the tweet that Tank made in response to Loma was earlier today?

He deleted it right after Michael Benson retweeted it
