They keep talking about it's for charity, but Mikey said out of his own mouth that "some" of the proceeds will be donated. Not ALL.

That doesn't really qualify as a charity match if you aren't donating the majority of the proceeds.

It's just another BS fight that shouldn't be happening..

Yes! Prograis, Baranchyk, and Relikh are all champions, and are in the WBSS! Prograis just did a fight on ESPN, b/c that was to set up him vs. Ramirez, but TR wanted to wait! Mario Barrios is WBA #1 contender, and Viktor Postol will be fighting on the Easter Jr. vs. Barthelemy undercard!

Shout out to Mikey for attempting greatness but fell short, hope he drops down to 140 and gives us some great fights there!
Well said!!! It was a brave attempt at greatness and I wish more fighters would do the same. To many guys are trying to get big $$, without doing the work or risking their unblemished record.

I'm repeating myself, but RJ, Wlad, Floyd, Tyson, Canelo, Gatti etc.. they all took the risk and they were not saying the opponents were not worth the risk. That is how you create a market for your PPV fights!!!

Not to mention that haymon now has leverage to lure more 140 lbers to pbc with Mikey being a ppv fighter

Damn these exhibitions becoming a thing for real. If I get rich this year Imma make an exhibition fight vs that lil undefeated guy people keep talkin bout. Take his 0 even if its not his official 0.

I would stay at 147 and try to get a Pacquiao fight, a huge fight with more money in it than any of the fights you named!

No way Mikey can make 135 again safely an still performing well!

If Mikey drops down at 135 at this point I would pick Loma to win and possibly even Tank, he won’t be the same!

I disagree. There are a lot of options Mikey has in regards to doing this charity.

Fight no one and do nothing.

Fight a real fight and donate nothing.

Fight an exhibition fight and donate nothing.

He’s organizing a show, performing, and donating some of the proceeds to his friend. And who’s to say if he didn’t already help out before this took place ? I respect him for this and don’t think it is up to the fans to decide how much he donates.
