I don't take that serious to be honest. Farmer probably fights mandatory fight next and then Davis. And how many weeks would he have had for this fight? Now, Farmer is being a hypocrite for what he used to do to other title holders when he was in Jo Jo's shoes, but I never thought this fight was going to happen.

yeah Farmer looking bad right now because he's basically acting like he's big time now and too good to fight Jojo who is a Olympian top ranked fighter with better wins on his resume then Farmer does. Also hasn't been KO'd and doesn't have 4 losses like Farmer does. It's one thing to chase down a Davis fight but he's basically saying I only want to fight bums until I cash out with Davis (who is NEVER going to fight him while he's under contract with Hearn and fighting on DAZN).

I don't see a reason as to why they are fighting these kind of low level opponents.

I hope they find a decent fight for JoJo Diaz. Bummer Farmer didn't accept the fight. Seems like a great fight for both guys on a card with a ton of attention.

“You could probably see a Gervonta Davis fight [with Farmer.] I think it’s probably inevitable,” said DiBella. “If it happens in 2019 it will be late in the year. It won’t be early because of Tevin’s contract with DAZN. But late in the year, it’s certainly a meaningful possibility.”

That's BS him and JoJo been going back and forth since march Check both fighters Twitter timeline. It was farmer who tried to play JoJo and asked for a contract be sent so JoJo finally made it public the contract to exposed farmer. Farmer hasn't complained about the money or disputed the fact he was sent contracts. He was even offered the fight May 4 or a later date on his own card because somehow Farmer thinks he's too big time to fight as the co-main of the biggest fight card of the year. lol this ain't about money or not having enough time it's about Farmer not wanting to take any risky fights while he just waits and prays for a Gervonta Davis fight.

I didn't know about all the Twitter talk b/c I don't do Twitter. However, I can't see any trainer letting their champion fight a 12 founder in March, and then f/u with a fight in May! Especially May 4th! Have you seen a champion fight that soon? If so, who?

Not a bad little fight for his first go at Supermiddle. But I think Ryder will fall in about 8 rounds due to the power and the pressure of Lemieux. He'll have his moments here and there due to his better boxing, but it won't prove successful in the end.
