Dis and Dat: Some Boxing Notes

Tomorrow night at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas is Shane Mosley vs. Fernando Vargas II on HBO PPV. I don’t know about you, but I can think of lots of things that boxing fans can spend $49.95 on besides this fight. That’s good for 17 gallons of gas up my way. Let’s be real here, shall we? [details]

"Had each of them just moved on after the first fight maybe a Jermain Taylor vs. Fernando Vargas fight could have been made for September and a Floyd Mayweather vs. Shane Mosley fight could have been made for November"

It can't get more true then that statement right there, & I damn sure aint paying 50 ****in bucks for this fight either, I would have paid to see Mayweather/Shane or Vargas/Taylor.

what ever ther was unfishised buisness in the ring after the first time. I guess winning a belt at 154 means mosly never belonged their not to mention all those other boxers that have never won belts at 154 and all those contenders at 154 don't belong their at either because mosley has won a belt at 154 so everone at 154 that currently have a belt at 154 should just go home. He won his belts agienst ODLH and then got blown out by wright only to comback and make a competative fight and then beat vargus who has come back very well by Tko from a wicked punch in the second round agianst a much bigger guy. For get all that I just said my only reply is, "huh". Now granted he was much more effective at lower weights is just dumb mosley is still a really good fighter but is getting old and slowing down but can still woop most fighter from 140-160 and yes he is not a world beater anymore but he can win tiltes or defend them at that range range for 1 maybe two years.
