In this particular interview, the rhetoric and propaganda is toned way way down, which indicates to me that he genuinely wants to make the fight at the end of the year. Very fair in his assessments. Everybody knows Wilder doesn't deserve 50/50. Even if you ignore everything else, Joshua has three of the belts and Wilder only has one. Even if Wilder were the bigger star (which he isn't), the guy with the three belts needs to be shown proper respect.

60/40 is a very fair offer, IF the fight is allowed to be sold to the highest bidder. We'll see later this year if Hearn is being genuine on that front.

Again the winner of that fight is the biggest star in boxing in the biggest and the richest Market in boxing instantly. So Giving up 50/50 is worth it especially considering what the the winner will earn after that fight. If it is a great fight then the rematch is even richer and the winner will get the bigger cut with no excuses.

So Giving up 50/50 is worth it especially considering what the the winner will earn after that fight.
