Comments Thread For: Shannon Briggs Dares David Haye To Fight, Return For One More

DAVID HAYE will come out of retirement to lock horns with Shannon Briggs, the American claims. Haye, 38, called time on his 16-year professional career following a second successive defeat at the hands of Tony Bellew in May 2018. The former world heavyweight champion was an overwhelming favourite heading into his maiden bout with Bellew, yet suffered a shock stoppage loss after rupturing his Achilles tendon halfway through the contest.

This chit with Briggs is sounding too desperate
Haye , imo , will never be in a ring again
Nothing to gain from this fight
Makes a lot more sense , circus wise and financially , vs Chisora
What a fughin circus that would be , pre-fight and the fight itself

Haye did lose glory by promising Briggs, then choosing bellow.. Briggs should leave that man alone and stop bullying him.. lol. He doesn't want to fight you Briggs. You need to go after some young blood champ.. stop chasing haye after class.. lol.

There's little point in anyone chasing a fight with Haye, he could come back but beating him will not earn the respect it once would have. At this point the man can't put much weight/pressure through his legs without rupturing ligaments and tendons all over the shop, so it is pretty much impossible for him to fight anywhere near the best of his ability. Tony Bellew proved that twice already.

This is pathetic, Haye has only 1 leg and Briggs is 50 years old PED cheat. They should both stay retired.
