(Between the first and second fights, we're talking about under 2.5m PPV buys @ $85 per PPV. Back of the envelope math puts that near $110m in proceeds. Splits being what they were, Golovkin's camp likely got near $40m for the two fights, plus the gate, all of which Loeffler got some of).

DAZN owes Golovkin a massive nut for the Canelo fight; every other fight on the deal is for drastically less money, and that's been made public.
He's been a top 3/5 biggest star in the sport for a while, probably getting quite a bit of revenue from sponsors etc. But I'm pretty sure his take from the first 2 fights was around $25-35 for each fight.

Of course half of that is paid away to taxes, but my point is that he has already made huge money so whether or not he gets another Canelo fight, he has already received 2 huge paydays so I am happy he got those.

The only source which quoted numbers said the deal was worth $100 million if it goes for 6 fights; if it goes for 6 fights I think Canelo will probably be 2 of them though so DAZN would make their money off of him.

And the fact that DAZN owes him big money is why I feel it is certain that DAZN will force the Canelo-GGG fight. They owe these guys too much money, especially Canelo, so they have to put the guys they are paying big money to in big time fights.

You can go and rant about Ward at his fanboys, I aint one of em and I don't give AF about Ward or whatever it is you're talking about that probably happened years ago since Ward is retired.

Mr All The Belts/I Fighter, I Not Businessmen ducked Derevychenko, end of story.
Nah, just exposing you as a biased fanboy which you make obvious anyway. If you kill one guy for something while giving another guy a pass on something worse, well you expose yourself. You had the opportunity to drop a quick response about another fighter that did something worse than GGG, but you decline because you're a tribal small-brained fanboy.

But don't worry you're in good company man, most people on this site are just as tribal and emotional about which fighters they like as you!

Once again - Dervy was ready to go on that date. Who said ONLY VM was available to fight on that date?? GGG had multiple options.
If GGG wanted more time , he could have pushed the date back a few weeks.
He did NOT have to fight on May 5th. The PPV was gone , the original venue was gone. He had plenty of time to reschedule a date to accommodate the mandatory which the IBF told him would have to be fought or else he would lose the belt.

Fighting VM was a disgrace, it was a waste of time , it brought in no money and it lead to GGG being stripped.
GGG could of had a good name on his resume but he wimped out , pure and simple.
Like I said before man, you're a dumbass. Dervy wasn't ready on that date. The Canelo 2 fight was next in September, so if GGG wanted a fight, which was his right since his opponent pissed dirty, then he had to take on a guy on short notice.

And again Vanes is not a scrub lol. He looked fine in there, it's not like he gassed out. He is the best win on Lara Andrade and Je Charlo's resume and he went 10-12 rounds with them. Yet GGG puts him out in 2 and everyone cries and wants to hate on GGG so they say he sucks.

You're a dumbass man - you're opinion is irrelevant. I will give you a chance to redeem yourself though - let's see you keep it real bro -

What is your opinion about this situation? Since you keep deflecting I will keep posting and exposing you, unless you want to kill Ward the same way you try and hate on GGG.

Go jerk off to your Ward obsession or something. I came here to discuss Canelo and GGG in a discussion forum about Canelo and GGG, not to entertain your gay Ward obsession.
And you made a claim about GGG, and I said 'how do you feel about this similar situation, let's see if you keep it real.' And obviously you don't keep it real because you decline to take 30 seconds and give your opinion.

You can put whoever's names you want out there. You made claims about fighter X. I said how do you feel when fighter Y did something even worse? And you said it's not your business.

You bit.ched out man, exposing yourself as a tribal fanboy again. But honestly you do that all the time so just keep being you.

It was a classic way to fight a pressure fighter. Canelo screwed up in the first fight by languishing on the ropes and using unnecessary body movement . Camel's team had a good game plan going into the second fight but he still came up short.. Now it looks like he wants to delay a third fight by saying G needs a belt. before a rematch.. LOL..
Yep and Tony unfortunately I think a lot of 'fans' are so tribal that they can't even give credit at all where it is due.

I'm sure I have some biases like anyone else, but when two guys get in the ring I do not care 1 bit if 'my guy' wins. I'm just trying to see who the better man is on that night and whoever it is I will give my props too. Sometimes your guy wins, sometimes he loses. You move on.

But a lot of the narrative from GGG haters about the two fights, as you pointed out, is so bizarre. Like GGG was hardly backed up at all in the 2nd fight lol. Canelo had him boxing off the back foot in round 5 but GGG did it exceptionally well and it was one of his best rounds. And other than that GGG was definitely the aggressor in fight 2 as well. Although Canelo definitely held his own better in that fight as you pointed out.

Like I just don't see how anyone keeping it real doesn't look at a round like round 5 and say, OK, good pressure from Canelo but even better boxing from GGG, clear round for him. But his haters just refuse to give him any credit, just the way it is.

Oh well that's why I am glad he at least got paid well his last few fights. He will never get credit from a lot of people so may as well get paid.

Charlo is nobody. He struggled against Korobov. No need for Charlo.

Boo boo was dropped by Vanes. He is not on GGG level. He should prove himself. Won't be surprised if he struggles against Sulecki.

His punk ass won't even fight Charlo.
Wait, Golovkin's not the champ anymore, Canelo is. Let's see how long it takes Canelo to face Charlo.

                    RUBBISH, you excuse-making clown !!

FACT: Mr " anyone from 154-168 " could have taken that fight whenever he wanted

stop blaming Canelo because Mr " anyone from 154-168 " lied to you..... Canelo was in no way required to hand Bullshltkin an advantage..... and like I told you on the other thread..... if Canelo did not jump a division and face a supposed killer in his first real fight t 160, then Bullshltkin may have lost that fight a well

and btw, Bullshltkin has never done anything like that, he did not jump a division to face a killer..... he avoided difficult fights in his own division even from smaller fighters like Lara/Cotto, and unproven guys like Derevyanchenko, Saunders, and Charlo

Ward and Canelo, are the exact type of fighters who you fkn idiots thought Golovkin would be..... and yet, you happily shlt on them to somehow elevate Golovkin

give it a rest Tony Baloney, you are the worst fanboy on this site..... that rubbish you said in my sig was disgraceful
