Let's see Lil g's last 15 opponents and compare them to Canelo, almost all these guys were former champions not sure about Ángulo and Kirkland tho

1-Fielding - OK/good win
2-Lil g - loss (not trying to be antagonizing but let's even leave the GGG fights out of the equation for now)
3-Lil g - loss
4-Chavez Jr - this is a good win to you? - to me this would be a good win if he stopped Chavez Jr
5-Smith - good performance
6-Khan - good performance and did what he should have done
7-Cotto - good win
8-Kirkland - good win/performance (btw Kirkland's other loss was a KO1 to Ishida, who GGG smashed in 3 rounds)
9-Angulo - solid win/performance
10-Lara - good win(I like Lara a lot but had it 7-5 Canelo as Lara got lazy at the end)
11-Floyd - loss
12-Trout - good win
13-Josesito - smaller guy, not that good of a win
14-Mosley - Mosley was 41 and smaller but still a solid enough win

By my count that's 8 good wins out of those fights excluding the two GGG fights. And Canelo has maybe 1-2 more good wins in this calendar decade. Canelo is also a lot younger than GGG and is now in his prime more or less, so by the time it's all said and done Canelo could certainly pick up quite a few more good wins. But at this point he has about 8-10 (I give him credit for Baldomir too).

Let's look at it - btw I said GGG has 15 good wins (excluding the Canelo fights) in this decade, which is different than what you brought up - but we will still look at this, factoring in who they fought and how they performed, to see if it was a good win.

GGG's 'good wins' are guys who are all solid, all different styles, all in their relative primes. The fact that he rolled all of them by KO pretty much and hardly lost a round is impressive. He performed and over-performed almost every time out.

I think GGG doesn't care about clenelo as everybody think. He showed it in negotiations before the 2nd fight. He was ready to move on ( not face clenelo) , you know. GGG will move on if clenelo will demand a title from GGG. GGG won't go after the belts just to fight clenelo.
