If that’s what it takes to solve the problems, why not? The Philippines is very rich in natural resources and yet, it was left behind by Asian neighbors like Indonesia and Malaysia just to name a few. That’s because of corrupt politicians, "the so called most qualified ones” who rob the country left and right and only cared about themselves. The one who cares about the poor is the one who will make some changes because his goal is to get rid of poverty in the country and if people underestimate him and don’t give him a chance, there will be no changes. Look, I know where you’re coming from, most people would favor the most intelligent ones to be the president of the country, that’s what I thought before but for so many years, they were not able to deliver, and this guy was very sincere when he said his goal was to get rid of poverty in the country, that’s the first thing to do if you wanna see some changes.

Natural resources does not make a country rich.
      It makes it exploitable .
South African countries are mostly poor.
      Brazil is poor.
      Mexico and Venezuela are poor.
      Rich countries are manufacturing countries.
And in the case of Singapore, commodities .

      Pacquiao ain't the solution .
The solution is a president who is not corrupt and has vision.
Pac has no vision because he is not well-educated.
He wouldn't get hired to manage a McDonald's.

As a senator, he should have already had proposed laws to lift the economy. Has he ?

Exploitable because of corruption, not being well educated doesn’t mean a person has no vision, the well educated presidents from time and time again have proven they can’t save the country because they only care about themselves. Nobody understands the poor people better than Pac because he used to be poor and he never forgets about his humble beginnings and yes, he has a vision: to get rid of poverty in the country. Singapore is rich because it doesn’t tolerate corruption, possession of drugs is punishable by death, murder is punishable by hanging in public etc. The most corrupt nations in the world remain in the bottom.

And Pac is part of that corruption.
He won the senatorial seat under Binay's banner.
Binay is one of the biggest thieves there is there .
His brother , who is a clueless dimwit, won a council seat.

Undestanding the poor does not make a country get out of it's third world status .

Singapore is no longer a third world because Lee Kuan Yew was a genius. Not an ex boxer who did not finish high school.

The Philippines needs a Lee Kuan Yew .
Duterte has failed already. He too claimed he knew the plight of the poor.

I don’t know about that Binay guy but I know about 90% of politicians there are corrupt. Duterte has the potential, I just don’t think it’s necessary to kill people like that.
Do you know anybody else who has the potential to save the country? I used to think the "Iron Lady” Miriam was the one until she sold out.
