Comments Thread For: Briggs: I Knew Tyson Fury Would Shed Weight, Restore Career

SHANNON BRIGGS exudes the type of self-confidence many a young fighter would envy when I ask why, at the age of 47, he is venturing back into the sport of boxing. "I never left, I never left," the veteran heavyweight, whose last outing came in a 2016 knockout win over Emilio Ezequiel Zarate at the O2 Arena, tells Starsport.

        Briggs is the MAN!!

Sky or BT need to give this man a broadcasting job, Briggs knows the sport and knows how to speak to the fans, i'd much rather watch Briggs break down a fight than Froch or Johnny Nelson.

I don't think Briggs will ever fight again, he's talking about comeback for years.

I knew Briggs would fail a drug test and not revive his career.

David Haye would of ended Tyson Fury inside 5 rounds. Tyson Fury is overrated, he has had two so called great wins! But when you analyse them, from a technical perspective they are poor fights

I still think all the things Haye stated about Tyson Fury are not far from correct. 'There are massive flaws in his game, and they will be exploited'.

David Haye would of ended both of them. 'But I agree reading back, I assume he was talking about Shannon Briggs' Briggs was a really good fighter, especially in the 90's. 'I think there was a stage when he pumped himself too big, in the early 2000's' ridiculous still carried his power over though.
