I thought GGG won a close fight but he lost a close fight. Many on here think Canelo won but few thought Canelo won by that much. If GGG didn't get robbed then why would Jacobs get robbed??????? I disagree that Jacobs will get robbed. If Jacobs deserves the win then he will get the win and if he doesn't then he won't. This board in general hates GGG so when he loses a fight he should have won the board does not cry robbery and instead says Canelo won and lite him up like a Christmas tree. Jacobs is popular so now this board makes excuses for Jacobs in advance and says he can't possibly win on points. If Jacobs is not KOed many will say he won just as they did when GGG beat him. Jacobs is really too big for middleweight and much bigger than Canelo and GGG. When he fought GGG he skipped the morning weigh in while GGG did not skip it. He was estimated to have weighed 180 to GGG's 170 on fight night. He won't be able to skip the morning weigh in this time and I think that might weaken him. I don't think he has looked quite as good since GGG beat him. I think Canelo will knock him out and nobody will have to worry if Jacobs got robbed or not.

Lara and Trout did lose but GGG beat him. What GGG said before the fight and him fighting Mexican style or not has nothing to do with anything. You are a long time GGG hater and no way could you ever be fair to him in scoring his fights.

You would have to totally embarrass Canelo to beat him on the cards.

Can we let the damn fight play out first before making all these types of threads?

Canelo/G 1 was in no way, shape, form or fashion a draw. One guy won that fight.

The Favorable Score Cards only last for so long even during Oscar Career...yeah the Card was in his favor for Ike Quartey, Pernell Whittaker fights like that but for the Trinidad fight (which I thought he won) as well as the 2 Shane Mosley fights things didn't go his way. So eventually this "Only Way You Beat Canelo If You Knock Him Out..." stigma will stop and he himself might find himself on the wrong side of Controversial Cards like what happened to Pacquiao in the Timothy Bradley fight

Won't happen this fight though! Jacobs haven't looked good in his last 3 (Aries, Sulecki, Derevyanchenko) to be brutally honest. I had the Derevyenchenko fight at Draw personally but because Jacobs did drop him that could easily be the difference in a fight like that.

So I think Canelo can beat Jacobs impressively without Controversy because he might be getting him at the right time. I've seen a massive decline in Jacobs since the GGG fight. However, Jacobs is also capable of beating Canelo with the right Gameplan and that Size. He has like 3 inches on him in reach, keep him at the end of that Jab and stay busy.

Will be very hard to win on points unless he dominates. Most of the round will most likely be quite competitive and winning close rounds against Canelo will be difficult. I think Jacobs will need a KO to be victorious.

Jacobs is getting stopped in May. DJ will make the mistake of sitting on the ropes once he tires out... Then Canelo will "heavy bag" him against the ropes.

People love saying this & I think its more conspiracy theory sh^t than its a legit thing when its such a confident proclamation people are making. BUT its not like there isn't some truth to the Canelo lean judges often seem to have. I don't think its quite as bad as most make it out to be doe. So no its not always going to be an impossibility for Jacobs to win legit, but if its 7-5 Jacobs on my & many fans cards I won't be shocked at hearing some cards going Canelo's way to the point of him winning or just eeking out or coming up short on a decision.
