I read a lot recently that Lobov was goat, I barely follow mma so had little knowledge of the guy. Saw him fight, he seems really bad at boxing ? Surely not one of the top strikers of the ufc? Maybe a good grappler?

LOL thats a comment made in jest at the expense of Lobov. Lobov got into the UFC off of his friendship with McConor. He's most famous for being McConor's sparring partner in the MMA world & close friend of McConor.

Guy is 13-15-1 in MMA at all levels ffs. He was 2-5 in the UFC. Hell he was 4-5 in Cage Warriors, probably a Double A caliber league to make a minor league baseball comparison, where McConor built his name pre-UFC.

Lobov isn't, never was, and never will be a top class MMA fighter. He is 2-5 in the UFC and has a losing record overall.

His best fight was probably with Cub Swanson - which he lost.

Plus, he's a BJJ specialist - no boxing pedigree as far as I know.
