look at it this way. estrada is 25 yrs old. alexander povetkin is 26. povetkin would and always will be head and shoulders betetr than him. sam peter is only 25, he would murder estrada, ruslan chagaev is 27 and also clearly superior fighter both in terms of skills and experience.

i also think alexander dimitrenko (24) is a better fighter with more potential. kevin johnson is probably the better prospect as far as americans go and i dont like him either.

I eas thinking from a petagree stand poind and some of his fights have been hard compared outside the incredibleness of povetkin, good opposition. Chagaev and dematrinko have 4 times as many fights and niether except chagaev agienst calloway in his like fourth fight have been in tough. and demitrinko fought vaughn much later.

Jason estrada has been a top amatuer so definetly hes well-schooled. so alot was expected of him before the olympics but he couldnt deliver and lost in his second fight so yeah im not totally sold on him yet. but you have to remember that amatuer and pro are different, so he could well turn out to be a great pro, who knows . him and hoffman are prolly the only 2 young HWs who have the talent to make it big ... so lets see what happens.

Hoffman your refering to travis right well. estrada seems by his record, never seen him fight, to be still fighting that amature fight, I was just courious to post the topic and see what other people had to say because I know nothing about him and was looking for feed back to form an opinion. U-tubes would clarify hint hint.

I am greatly interested about this guy. Anything I should know beside him being the top US SHW amature. I have never seen him fight or read any press on him.

It's too early to say if he's got what it takes to make any waves in the heavyweight division. From what I've seen, he's confortable and composed in the ring, he's got good defensive and general ring skills, and he's got some good speed. What he lacks is power and the will to knock his opponent out. Interesting to see how he turns out in a 1 year to 2 years.
