I started watching boxing in 1978. Back then it was common to see contenders fight for the title who had anywhere from 5-10 losses on their record because every contender fought other contenders or had previous shots at the title. These young kids these days who have started to watch boxing in the last couple of years or so believe that a star is only suppose to fight another undefeated superstar. This is a sign that these kids have been spoiled by the Mayweather era.

Wilder's fundamentals are so bad. I watched a video of him hitting the heavy bag, it was embarrassing. He looked like a total amateur. His power and explosiveness are what makes him a great fighter.Comment

Worse than Marvin hart? Tommy burns? Jack sharky? Primo Carnera? Max schmeleng? Ingo Johanson? John Tate? Tony Tubbs? Mike Weaver? Gerry Coetzee? Jess Willard? Hasim Rahman? John Ruiz? Shannon Briggs? Fransesco Damiani? Michael Bent? Herbie Hide? Etc etc etc?Comment

There was a time when unbeaten fighters were generally viewed with su****ion, i.e. "he's only unbeaten because he hasn't fought anyone". People wanted to see if you could come back from a defeat instead just writing you off.I started watching boxing in 1978. You didn't have to wait long for a response. Is Wilder amateurish at times? Absolutely! Does he go nuts and throw windmill punches at times? Absolutely! You claim that you go to all the fights at Barclays? With your money you won't run in to a peasant like me sitting in section 16 on May 18th. I'm sure that you sit ringside being that you are a "whale"! I will be watching Wider destroy Breazeale faster and easier than Joshua did. Unfortunately I may nevet get to see a Wilder/ A.J fight. At least not for awhile because " big baby" is going to crush Frank Bruno 2.0 on June 1st. I realize that Wilder has flaws but Joshua is another in the long line of overrated, british hypejobs. There will not be another Lennox Lewis. Keep praying for one!He is ,he has gone back to basics
You know I have a love hate relationship with Deontay. I love his Mrs but I hate him
only joking you know my thoughts on the fight. One silly move by AJ and it’s night night. I’ve never denied the threat that Deontay poses but until they fight I will take as many shots as I can at Wilder and wait for his thong wearing Wilderlites to respond.Comment

I agree Oldskoolg. I too started to really get in to boxing in the 70's. My first favorite fighter was " Smokin Joe". Always hated Ali's big mouth. The guy did back it though! Back then losses didn't mean s..t. There were real rivalries. Trilogies even, within a short period of time. Who the hell wants to see a Manny/Mayweather fight now? It's a joke! I will be at MSG for Crawford/Khan. I last saw him there in 2017 against Diaz. My point is that he should be fighting Spence at this stage. I don't blame Bud. I think he wants the fight and would duck no one.I started watching boxing in 1978. Lol... Lennox Lewis is Canadian plus I’ve never really liked him . Great fighter just preferred Tyson. I have never watched a fight in the United States. Not even a street fight. You must have me confused with someone else. I thought you said you went to the last 6 out of 7 events at Barclays and I simply acknowledged that great feat . I’m quite a lazy fan to be honest and tend to just go to the shows in London 02You didn't have to wait long for a response. Is Wilder amateurish at times? Absolutely! Hey don’t be bringing Herbie Hide into this debate you Weasel. He did nothing to you. Let his nostrils rest in peace and he is a fellow Nigerian so I’ve always got his back. Wilder claims he is half Nigerian so he can defend himselfComment

I'm going by his birthplace. I think he is a dual citizen. It's the accent I guess, lol. My bad, I thought that you came to Barclays. I only live a couple of hour away so I try to make as many fights as possible. I love boxing and it keeps my mind busy. I lost my older son on 6/11/17 to a drowning and I try to enjoy life in his honor. Hopefully we do get a Wilder/Joshua fight. I wouldn't ask for -450 for that one,lol!Lol... Jesus bro a parent should never bury their child. Your life must have been turned upside down. I only have one 8 year old boy and if anything was to happen to him I don’t know what I would do. Even though I catch him twerking in the mirror but what can I do he is my son.I'm going by his birthplace. I think he is a dual citizen. It's the accent I guess, lol. I hope he made you proud whilst he was alive, and you continue to make him proud. ( I hope he was a AJ fan or at least a Spence fan?)Comment
