All three of the top heavyweights are fighting lesser guys than Whyte. He's very unlucky to have been left out in the cold like this.

I’m a long term fan of Ortiz but I have to reluctantly admit that he looked old and faded against Hammer, who, to label as a journeyman would be high praise indeed. Whyte has massive power compared to Hammer, is unpredictable and has improved markedly since the AJ KO. I think Ortiz is there for the taking at this point and would be an easier fight than Kownacki or Pulev. I expect the fight to be made and for Whyte to win via late KO.Comment

Again, here's Whyte talking about a fighter that he's not fighting! He turns down a title fight/rematch with Joshua, but he's throwing shade at a man that wants to fight Joshua, Fury, or Wilder, but not him! Although i'm no fan of Charr, I get it! If Whyte is with MatchToom, fight Hunter or Hrgovic! If Whyte is with TR, fight Oscar Rivas or Kubrat Pulev!Comment

He already beat Parker and wasn't exposed.Comment

That's rich. This is like the pot calling the kettle black.
If Dillian Shyte was serious about fighting Wilder he'd get in the ring with Luis Ortiz.Comment

I just cant seem to get it out of my head that Whyte turned down a title shot with good paydays so he can take fights for less money where if he wins he MAY get a title shot. I know his gripes about the contract and fair enough but the contract was written while AJ is the A side and as they really dont like each other and Whyte always has plenty to say about Joshua there isnt really any incentive for AJ to be generous or charitable to Whyte.
At the end of the day it was a direct chance at 4 world titles and making more money than he can get fighting literally any other fighter in the division. He turned it down to go a longer way round and earning less money doing it.Comment
