I think a number of fighters can become as well-known with the right push and equally with their achievements inside the ring.

As for mimicking ppv numbers, that will be hard to do. Personally, I don't think ppv is worth it anymore and fewer people are going to be fooled by it. More and more people use the internet and more of them find ways to illegally stream fights. I mean I only found hd streams like last year....and I thought my stream game was decent. But had i known before...I wouldn't have purchased 90% percent of the ppv's I bought.

Floyd used to beat guys up when he was young too. Teofimo is good. Lets see if his size is enough for 147.

He has to have co mega star who he seems to be ducking for years to be bigger than Floyd. You need a dance partner/rival
                You need to milk it
A combination of admiration and hate

I agree. He has the mouth, fighting style, charisma etc to do it. He can do the eel thing and it would work as long as he keeps winning.

I think you are missing an important part-Floyd was the also the most talented and skilled boxer to go along with all the other intangibles you discuss. I don’t know that Lopez is the same.

It’s fine to just be charismatic and have the ability to attract a crowd. But if you don’t have elite skill eventually it catches up to you and you can’t beat the elite opponents. It’s like Broner- he can draw casuals but can’t beat top tier guys.

Lopez has great power and has a good team behind him but nothing we’ve seen to date suggests he is as highly skilled as Floyd so it’s not likely he reaches that level. I do think he can make a huge splash and draw like Tito, maybe possibly even Manny. I don’t see him on the Floyd, odh level.

                      No

                      24/7 was new

Rivals Delahoya and pac were huge

Reality show is not new anymore and loma is not as high profile as delahoya was

Gonna take special circumstances to see stars of that magnitude again.
