GGG fans were outraged when Jacobs didn't follow the 10 pound rehydration rule against Golovkin but now they are angry that he has to follow it against Canelo. They are not rational people.Comment

I get your point. I get where it may rub you or others the wrong way... My point is Jacobs signed. No excuses is my point, Jacobs won't make any excuse when he takes that check to the bank right? Also, on the canelo now chosing to implement this and that, well he earned the status as one of the biggest if not the biggest star today in the sport. I don't blame him for using that to his biggest advantage he can. What about when he gave away two pounds to mayweather, what about when he went full 160 for triple jab? Give him credit too. He paid his dues. The fight likely wouldn't have been made if he didn't. Just like pac opponents used to have to agree to his lame catch weight requests, Canelo is trying to use his status to gain an advantage. Canelo arbitrarily decides if he wants a rehydration clause because now he's finally fighting bigger men. Where was this request when he was picking on little amir khan, or beefy Smith, or josesito Lopez?Comment

It's dumb. They both signed the fight under whatever circumstances because they believe they can win. So who cares right? Let best man win and no excuaes. You obviously aren't able to read in gingerhateritis. Not to worry I'll translate for you, basically it goes like this:
If Canelo fights without rehydration clause & without weighing in right before the fight= hes a weight bully who can't make same day weigh in because hes unable to fight w/o being 190 & he don't want to show he weighs 190.
If Canelo fights with rehydration clause/weigh in same day of fight= Hes a cheat weight bully 4 being smaller than Jacobs/& he is weight draining jacobs because only canelo is capable to come in below 170.
When ggg faced jacobs in unification & didn't put rehydration in contract=Jacobs cheated by being too big 4 "tiny mw ggg",& his fans demanded that there be a rehydration clause in contract if they rematch, because Jacobs is a natural cw & weight bullied ggg & should move up to 168 because a rematch is unfair to ggg vs a weight bully like jacobs. Ggg agreed & held a press conference to say he was weight bullied & won't ever rematch Jacobs.

you are a complete idiot. every fight that Manny had in the last 10 years he looked like a kid fighting his fatherThe fight likely wouldn't have been made if he didn't. on fight night he was significantly heavier than josesito lopez when they fought, as well as Cotto, as well as liam Smith. As far as him being only 2-3 pounds heavier than Lara and trout. Where do you get your info from? Vs Lara he was 171 while Lara was 166. Vs trout canelo was even bigger at 172.Comment

if Jacobs loses, it won't be because of the rehydration cause. But... It's definitely not going to help his clause. It's true, all A sides do it. Oscar did it, pac did it., Floyd did it, Cotto did it.... Just not a fan of it. May the best man win on what'd hopefully be a level playing field.I get your point.
