      • Well if I was a woman I would be undisputed champ! Lol. See how easy that is to say.. why even say it.. If u was a man, u would have been ko'd in the amatures and working that grill at the waffle house.. lol. Don't confuse an smear your accomplishments with wierd statements like that... cause I'm sure u can get a sex change an get that work. Lol. Let me stop.. I like shields but don't get craxy and start insulting men.. cause if we don't watch.. women's boxing is done, cause most women do not support women boxing or sports in general.

But nobody really cares. There's no hype and few people tune in to watch them fight. Women's MMA is on another level.

          • Shields is wrong. If she was a man, she would have been held to higher standards. This "talk rubbish before I have achieved anything" attitude is so typical of many of today's boxers, male or female, as a way of developing a profile. However, when it is a male, we can generally assess their boasts against their record and if Shields was assessed in the same manner, she would be regarded as a good prospect, not some world great.

There's hype in Norway when Braekhus fights. Yessica Bopp generates a lot of attention in Argentina. And so on.

American MMA fans seem to support the women's side of their sport. While American boxing fans appear to not want to encourage it at all and mock it instead.

That's the real difference I see.

Winning two Olympic gold medals pretty much makes her a world great.

Right, and how many dykes bother watching their own? Virtually none which is why the dykes rely on heterosexual men to make them famous. That's dyke thinking for you - they hate us but they need us

Norway is a very small country and there's only hype when Braekhus fights. It's not even about boxing, it's about Braekhus being a world champ. She could be a world champion in competitive eating and Norwegian would tune in simply because of national pride.

Women's MMA is way more global because there's an interest in women's MMA. Cyborg, Nunes or any of the other female stars can fight in any country and people would be hyped to see them fight.
