Best Prospect That Didn't Make It

When I first saw Francisco Bojado I thought he woudld be the next DLH. While he is not a slouch, he didn't live up to the incredible hype surrounding him. Does anybody know what happened to "panchito"? Also who are other prospects that didn't pan out in others' opinions?

Yeah I agree but Vargas' career was ruined by mismanagement. If he hadn't taken on Trinidad when he was clearly too young and inexperienced, we might be talking about him in the likes of DLH etc. His situation seems sadder than most failed boxing experiments.

Is Francisco still considered a prospect?

            I've seen him lose twice.

He's not considered much of anything as he has been away along time.

Grant and Guinn also got to be in my top 10, especially Grant. Do you think Codrington is done? I was never sold on him as a real "prospect" with only 10 or so professional fights. Even so, I think he may have been lucky to get KTFO so quickly. If Vargas had stayed down in the 1st against Tito, I think his career may have fared better. So do you think Codrington can ever make something of himself?

may be who knows a ko like that can really **** with a guys head for the rest of his career. he is a fairly gifted athlete and he knew he was taking a really hard fight. The guy was getting a lot of press and hype and to go out like that is going to stain the rest of his career kinda like tua vs ruiz and ruiz could never live it down. It just depends if he can get his confidence back dedicate himself in the gym and not get gun shy.
