deep down Khan knows its almost certain he will lose all this talk is him trying to fool ppl in to thinking its competitive and buy the fight this is his retirement payday before he retires and works for sky tv full time (who will give him a full time contract because of diversity) on which he will spend his days saying "i fought the best no one domestically beat me" thats why he won't fight Brook its his angle to make him look an expert on TV

I mean he could hardly show his face on there after KTFO by Brook in front of a record UK crowd if it happened

"I should never be put down by a guy like Vargas," Khan told BT Sport . "I got caught with an overhand right - I saw it coming but I just didn't move, I was too relaxed.

Aaaaannnddd this is why I think Khan may have a short night, even though I'd like for it to at least be competitive.

In all of your angry posts. Look, I'll give you the opportunity to have the last word on this one because I find you embarrassing. As a father of 2 kids, I know exactly what a "kid" is and how they behave when they are a bit stroppy. The stage is all yours now, but please make your final post worth my reading time because so far it's just been a load of phoney bollux. I apologise if I mistakenly called you a Pakistani if you are not, but your behaviour suggests you're one of Khan's fanboy "community" and you look west Asian or ''Islamic" to me.
Make your last one a good one. Go on, you've got a free swing - just don't miss

I wish they would quite calling Khan a superstar because he isn't. A super bragger yes. A superstar? Hell no. The fact that a cherry pick like Vargas who is not even in the top 50 could drop him and then hurt him late in the fight is proof Khan is no superstar anymore. He is just barely a top 10 welterweight. Crawford is going to murder him.

Yes the 'superstar' banner is a complete embarrassment .I was at MSG for the Lomochenko fight last Dec. and had the chance to talk some boxing with some very knowledgeable boys and girls and when Khan's name cropped up (due to his stalking Mayweather and co.) it was like a comedian had just told his top joke.I love it when these clowns on this forum blindly defend this little half-whit who has lied his way through his career always thinking he is better than he actually is and being a welterweight for six years and NEVER actually fighting a top contender.Khan once said when moving up from light welter ,where he'd just been badly knocked out! ....'I'm going to clear the welterweight division out'....he would have been clearer and more precise to have said 'i'm going to steer clear of all decent welterweights' !

                  Amir Khan = Walter Mitty!

He's a superstar in the UK, where he's a household name among casuals. He's probably the second most recognized current domestic boxer in the UK after AJ. His early Olympic and pro fights regularly drew 5-7 million viewers each. And his more recent stint on I'm a Celeb drew 10-12 million viewers every day, and he's the highest-paid celeb in that show's history (surpassing Katie Price). And that's just the UK, without taking into account Pakistan, where he's also a household name (much like AJ is in Nigeria).

Does he deserve all that fame? Probably not. Maybe he did when he was an Olympian and then a champ. But he hasn't been relevant in boxing for a long time. In recent years, he's known more for his antics outside of the ring, which is ironically how he's kept himself relevant in the UK media. As Brook put it, he's like a "Khandashian".

Question for Khan do you why you got hit with that right hand? The same way you always get knocked out pulling back hand away from your face. Vargas dropped low with a feint first then he threw a throw away jab that made you react pulling your hands away from your face. You are suppose to keep your hands up fool the closer someone gets to you and you are suppose to pull out or away low so that punch misses you fool and goes over your head.
