    Teofimo lopez...

This guys suddenly the talk of the town for some reason. Who has he beat? Why is he now the boogeyman for the p4p number 1? I thought tank is too young but lopez who is a few years younger is ready to go right now and already good enough to beat lomachenko???? Because people are demanding the fight does that mean lomachenko gets credit if he beats him??? Am i missing something cause this kid is a prospect and an absolute nobody, pretty sure people were crying about lomachenkos amateur record only being great cause he fought kids, but now they are demanding he fights one straight away or 'he scared'

I like Teofimo Lopez a lot but I don't think a lot of a lot of his so called "fans" on this forum actually like him, they just hate Loma. Just like they jumped on the Walters and Rigondeaux bandwagons when those guys were seen as the biggest threats to Loma. Honestly as a genuine Lopez fan I don't think he's ready for Lomachenko just yet, and Loma wouldn't get much credit for beating him when he's still very inexperienced.

To say Lomachenko is scared or anything is ******. So let's stop with that.

But he is young, but he is the goods and wants the fight. He looks to be the real deal. If you want him to get a solid win first, that is fair. Has he beaten anyone of note yet? No, of course not. But that's why TR wants to give him a step up fight later this year and set up the Lomachenko fight.

Tank is young, but he is good enough to compete with Lomachenko. It is his people who are a bit hesitant in making that fight happen. Lopez's people aka his pops and manager have no problem making the fight right now. So what's the problem? Davis' own camp doesn't want the fight yet and that's why it has never been seriously discussed. Totally opposite with Lopez.

Lopez would beat the crap out of all of Lomachenko's recent opponents. So let me ask you, why are YOU so opposed to the fight? If Lomachenko schools and embarrasses him then so be it. Doesn't hurt Lomachenko does it? Why would you rather see him fight guys like Crolla or Pedraza who wouldn't last 12 with Lopez?

I think people like hype, I don’t mind hype but am sure matchmakers know there are different levels to this s hit. If he fights Lomachenko in the next few fights then he gets beat easily. He should do what everyone want, wait until Loma is a bit more older before checking him.

And those people are ****** to just jump on his bandwagon just because they hate Lomachenko. But Lopez is legitimately the goods and isn't just getting hype just because he is linked to Lomachenko. He has a real shot here. LIS, he beats the crap out of Lomachenko's recent opponents. It's a much better fight than Pedraza or Crolla or Marriaga or whoever. I'll give Linares his respect, but I would pick Lopez over him as well.

And Lomachenko won't get too much credit for beating him? How much credit is he getting for beating the likes of Marriaga or Sosa or Crolla anyways? That isn't his problem at all. And if/when Lopez goes on to achieve big things in boxing, the win will look very good down the line.

Lopez should face a guy like Pedraza or Luke Campbell first. Those are truly world class fighters who would give Lopez the kind of test that he needs.

People are in a rude awakening if they think there is anything "easy" about this fight. And why do we want him to wait until Lomachenko gets old? This dude wants him NOW while he is ranked #1 or #2 P4P. Let Lomachenko show the world just how "easily" he would win this fight opposed to fans just spewing that out as if Lopez will get schooled.

Good fighter. A lot of this is because he's the new hope to beat Lomachenko. I don't see it. I don't even see why half the **** in boxing is as polorizing as it is to be honest.

Like I said before...this is only a good fight if Lopez captures a belt or becomes Mando. Lomachenko is trying to become undisputed. That's why he was scheduled to fight Commey and probably will fight Commey after this one. If Lopez can get a belt, Loma will fight him. If he can't maneuver himself into a position that Lomachenko wants to fight him...he's irrelevant for Loma because he would be a waste of time with nothing to gain. People act like they want this fight so bad right now, but they will make the excuse 'he wasn't ready', 'he was still green' if Lopez loses. If Lopez can get a belt, Loma should get credit for the win. So let's see Lopez do just that and the fight can maybe even happen for undisputed. Then it's a great fight!
