Fat gets burnt... and you get back to your original weight.

It's not like he was killing himself to make 147 either. He had a bit of fat sometimes.

Its not good for your body and your performance in the ring. He'll be very drained. He shouldn't force himself to lose weight very quickly, unnaturally and just fight where his body feels comfortable.

Even worse in a contact sport like prize fighting.

Hate to see him do this to himself.
Well, don't worry. I'm sure Arum will overpay him and give Crawford another easy touch.

I've been following maidana and ariza on Instagram & from what I see they're doing this the right right way & Chino is looking great already. There's a bunch of videos of what they been doing on YouTube from fighthype as well.

Ariza is a dipsh-t but he knows his stuff, although I think his partner Terri is the real mastermind as far as the science of it all goes. Shes been doing blood tests, bmi testing , & all kinds sh-t for Chino which I think is pretty cool. Modern day science in sports is a wonderful thing.

There's no doubt in my mind ariza and Terri will have Maidana back in the best shape of his life, it's the boxing side that I'm curious about. 5 years is a lot of rust to shake & Chino was never the fastest nor did he have the best reflexes to begin with. It will be interesting to see if he links back with Robert Garcia or if he finds someone else in Vegas where he's been. Arizas not coming back to Oxnard that's for sure

If you saw a draw against Mayweather just stop watching boxing , you don't understand what you're watching, maidana barely won 3 rounds

It's all about what weight he can get to be effective at his age and 5 year layout. But from what I've seen he's come a long way from this
