Exactly. Granados made his name off the Imam win, but Imam was epicly bad that night. Not sure if it was just a bad performance by him or if he really is that shi-tty, but that was about the worst defense I've ever seen from such a highly-regarded prospect. Imam could not block or slip a single punch.
Granados, for his part, is the definition of a gate-keeper. He's tough, rugged and earnest, but he will never beat top-level fighter. Altogether, he's got enough to hold back some 2nd-tier guys, but the top guys are walking through him.Comment

Granados is one of those guys who look big for the weight class in some fights, and small in others. I think this is the fight where he looks small.
This is a great scrap for DSG coming off a loss to Porter. In Danny's mind, he feels he won two close fights against Keith and Shawn, so he should go out here and perform like an undefeated fighter...if that's what he still sees himself as.
Granados is ALWAYS game...I just hope nothing goofy happens in this fight the Fortuna fight.Comment
