On Tuesday night, McGregor took shots at the wife of his last opponent, Khabib Nurmagomedov, on Twitter, saying "Your wife is a towel mate," while posting two photos of Nurmagomedov and his wife on their wedding day. In the pictures, Nurmagomedov's wife's face is veiled. He later deleted the tweet.
I don’t have any problems with trash talking but family and/or religion should be left out of trash talk. He hasn’t won a fight in nearly 4-5yrs and he apologized in the ring while getting beat by Khabib, doesn’t get more cowardly than that. If it wasn’t for Floyd he’d be out on the street by now. He's one of the most overrated fighters in combat sports. Pauli beat him and his lackey up, he would stand no chance in a street fight against the top boxers. Was a big fan of his but now I put him in the same category as Broner.
