Comments Thread For: Chisora vs. Allen is Possible if Both Win, Says Hearn

Should both of them win their upcoming fights, there is a possibility that heavyweights Derek Chisora and David Allen will collide in 2019, according to their mutual promoter Eddie Hearn. The boxers will be showcased in a doubleheader on April 20th at The O2, with Chisora facing Senad Gashi, and Allen facing former WBA world champion Lucas Browne in the main event.

Dave Allen isn't getting past Browne.

Even old Chisora would be too much for Allen imo.

The state of heavyweight boxing in the UK is awful.

Lucas Browne last fought in a netball hall in NZ in front of 100 people against an overweight polynesian dwarf with no boxing experience.

But in the UK he is a headline act.

Lucas brown is so fat and useless he cant even get bouncing jobs anymore.

Eddie had to go to australia to find a bouncer old,fat and slow enough to make these F grade UK heavy weights look good.

I dig Dave, but he's gotta be the worst, least talented fighter who regularly makes headlines or gets threads made about him here.

And while I'm picking Browne to beat Dave I think Dave has a punchers chance to upset him. Probably a 85/15 fight.

As usual, you’re making very little sense with your inane rhetoric. How does your opinion of Browne provide an a relevant reflection on the rude health of British heavyweight boxing? Allen is a trier but blatantly nothing more than a journeyman but we still have five heavyweights ranked in the top 20.

Pretty much any version of Chisora beats any version of Allen. As much as I like Allen, he’ll likely struggle with Browne, let alone Chisora.
